Once upon a time there was three fat little pigs living with their poor mother. Then one day their mother said, ” you are now old enough to go and leave home yourself. You need to build your house and earn money to buy food to eat.”
First the youngest pig saw a farmer carrying straw. He asked the farmer politely, ” Can I please have the bundle of straw to build a house out of it?” The farmer said yes, so he built a fine house out of straw.
The second little pig went to a forest and saw a woodcutter and asked, ”Can I please have some of your wood please?” The woodcutter said yes, so the second little pig made a fine house out of the wood the woodcutter gave him.
The oldest pig went and saw a man carrying a cart of bricks. He asked politely, ”Can I please have some of the bricks to build my house?” The man said of course and gave the pig some bricks. After the oldest pig said thank you he went off to build a steady house. The other two built a unsteady house and went to play in the fields. They asked the oldest pig, did he want to play when he was halfway building his house.
When the two pigs got tired of playing and went inside to rest, a hungry wolf had spotted the houses of the 3 little pigs. He went to the straw house and said, ” Piggy piggy let me in.” The youngest pig said in a squeaky noise “ No, I will not let you in”. The wolf said, ” Then I will huff and puff and blow your house down.” So the wolf huffed and puffed and blew the house down.
Scared, the youngest pig ran to the second pigs and said, ” Lock the door, the big,bad wolf is right behind me.”
The wolf said, ”Piggy piggy, let me in.” The second pig said to the wolf, ”No I will not let you in.”
“Then I will huff and puff and blow your house down.”
After that he huffed and puffed and blew the unstable wooden house down.
Amazed the two pigs ran to the third little pig’s house as fast as their little trotters could carry them. When they got there they puffed, ”The big bad wolf is right behind me! Close the door tight.” When the wolf came to the third little house he growled, ”Let me in little pigs”. The oldest pig said “No I will not let you in”. So the wolf said “ If you don’t let me in I will huff and puff and blow your house down.” So the wolf huffed and puffed.
But with no luck the house did not move the house 1 millimetre, the house just standed there. The wolf looked around the house and decided to climb into the house through the chimney and eat the pigs. He said to the pigs “Tomorrow I will meet you at the apple tree to pick apples at 9:00.” The next day the pigs went to the apple tree at 8:00 and got a lot of apple. They waited until 9:00 and when the wolf came they threw rotten apples at the wolf until he ran away. Then the little pigs lived happily ever after.
This week we have been rewriting a fairy tale and change its ending. I changed my ending into the pigs throwing rotten apples at the wolf and the wolf running away.
